The person Kennedy was texting was traveling to Asia, and the presidential candidate suggested they might enjoy a restaurant in Korea that served dog on the menu. Vanity Fair said the photo’s metadata shows it was taken in 2010, the same year that Kennedy was diagnosed with a parasitic worm in his brain. HuffPost reached out to the Kennedy campaign for comment, but no one immediately responded. However, a veterinarian told Vanity Fair the carcass is canine due to the number of ribs on the animal, including the telltale “floating rib” found in dogs.
