This is something I've been wanting to try for a while. Today I'm comparing the sounds, controls, and practicality of the famous Strymon Blue Sky to an underdog - the TC Electronic Hall of Fame mini. I've owned both for years and have even used them back to back in previous rigs.

Both are great pedals but you might be surprised that the cheaper option may actually suit you better if you're after just one highly specific sound or want to expand your pedalboard to have one more reverb preset. Likewise, the Blue Sky is great for stereo use and being able to change parameters on the fly. Additionally, it features a very convincing spring sound - something that a lot of reverb pedals lack.
