(6 Feb 2015) US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday arrived at the 51st Munich Security Conference, that comes amid a frantic diplomatic push to end the violence in eastern Ukraine.
Kerry's first meeting ahead of the conference was expected to be with India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.
He was later set to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to discuss the ongoing nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
The meeting with Zarif comes as an end-of-March target date for a framework nuclear deal approaches.
The three-day Munich Security conference will last until Sunday.
