L'empio sleale indegno
vorria rapirmi il regno,
e disturbar così

Ma perda pur la vita

ARIA TRANSLATION:
That wicked, treacherous wretch
would seek to rob me
of my kingdom,
so as to disturb my repose.
Let him perish, then,
before he and his covetous heart
should make me
an example of betrayed faith.
