Runaway teenagers Cattle Annie and Little Britches meet Bill Doolin and his outlaw gang in the 1890's West. With Plummer, Diane Lane, Burt Lancaster, John Savage, Scott Glenn, Redmond Gleeson, and more. The film was released without publicity in a handful of theaters in 1981, but Pauline Kael, Vincent Canby, Michael Sragow, and Roger Ebert were among those who praised the film in print and on TV. Directed by Lamont Johnson, produced by Rupert Hitzig.
