Banana chips are thinly sliced unripe plantain bananas either lengthwise or crosswise. The slices are deep fried in hot oil and packed in tightly sealed pouches. They usually come in sweetened flavor and sometimes added with banana essence. The product is crispy and crunchy with golden yellow in color. 1/2 tsp fine salt
