Defence and Military Veterans Minister Thandi Modise says the scourge of gender-based violence in the military is of grave concern and would be thoroughly dealt with, with the adoption of the National Action Plan on gender-based violence and the National Action Plan on women. Modise was speaking during a seminar on 'women in defence' at the Waterkloof Airforce Base in Pretoria, which is part of the Africa Aerospace and Defence programme for 2022.
