Russian videoclip shot by Danny Willems
For the first single, Unidentified Flying Subjects, The Sedan Vault collaborated with Danny Willems, internationally renowned for his work in alternative and mainstream domains. This being a low budget project, Willems decided to travel to Moscow with only one camera. Capturing mainly images of Russian street life, underdog taxi drivers, a military airport and one political leader, the video shows a city changing from communism to kapitalism. Mixing these images with footage of a hostage situation, he came up with the idea of a collage clip. To highlight the rhythm of the song, he combined both photo and video shots. Not for epileptics.
This music video will be screened on the Dutch 'Shoot Me Film Festival'. With its nomination for 'Best Music Video International' it is part of the Dutch Music Video Competition. The upcoming edition of Shoot Me takes place in The Hague (15-25 October 2009).
