Rodgers is joined by his colleagues Dr. Pamela Thornton, Senior Advisor for Workforce Diversity and Health Equity, and Dr. Katrina Serrano, Program Director in the Office of Minority Health Research Coordination, to discuss NIDDK’s goals to increase health equity and strengthen the diversity of the scientific workforce, which are themes in NIDDK’s new Strategic Plan for Research.
