Another one of our ewes - Daisy - gave birth to her lambs but she rejected one of the twins. Daisy is a first-time mother and likely didn't know what to do with twins. She was also a rejected bottle baby herself.
I don't know that the rejected lamb got the necessary colostrum to give her the antibodies she needs to thrive. We set out to extract some colostrum from Daisy to feed to her rejected lamb.
