In this video, I cover all of the mistakes I MADE when I started astrophotography, some as recent as last year!
Here is a list of mistakes I have made over the years:
1. Not starting with a compact, wide-field telescope
2. Not choosing a smart target for your gear and location
3. Not utilizing narrowband filters with your camera
4. Over-analyzing your autoguiding graph
5. Not dithering your images between each frame
6. Not using camera control software
7. Not processing color images channel by channel
All of these astrophotography tips helped me capture and process better images. I hope you find at least one of them helpful to advance your progress!
