How to ask questions in German language is explained in lesson 29. Yes No questions in German are easy to frame. Questions in any language can be open ended or closed ended. Similarly one can ask open ended question or closed ended questions in German language. Close ended questions are also called yes no questions whereas in response to the open ended questions one can give some explanation. To ask questions in German language and especially the Yes No questions in German language is very easy.
So far we have learned in the German language course A1 level for absolute beginners that how to make positive sentences in German language, in which the subject comes at first position, verb is conjugated according to the subject and comes at second position and then comes either preposition or a direct object etc.
To ask questions in German language or to make questions in German language especially yes no questions in German, we have to simply put the conjugated verb at the first positions in a sentence and put the subject at the second position in the sentence. In other words to ask questions in German language or to make questions in German language we simply have to exchange the position of subject and conjugated verb. The remaining sentence structure in German language sentence will remain unchanged.
