In today's video I talk about why Grand Seiko is under appreciated in my opinion. Grand Seiko is a phenomenal brand that makes luxury products with outstanding quality, however, they seem to be under valued in the watch world. Not that many people outside the watch "bubble" know what Grand Seiko is. Wealthy people, and people in general with money to spend on a watch aren't always going to Grand Seiko. Its not a brand celebrities are talking about, or a brand that shows up in music videos by popular hip hop artists, and that seems to be a problem for their popularity. Whether its models like the four seasons or snowflake, we know the quality is there, just not the recognition. If you are someone who is just getting into watches you might be asking yourself, "Is Grand Seiko any good?" and that is truly sad for a brand like Grand Seiko. Grand Seiko doesn't get the respect of brands like Rolex, Omega, AP, or Patek within the world outside the watch community. They need to make a serious push for the outside world to see how good they are whether it is through marketing or celebrity advertisements or something.
