Footprints from ice-age humans some 13,000 years ago have been found beneath the sands of a Canadian Island in the Pacific, the earliest prints ever discovered in North America. The 29 footprints of three different shapes and sizes were embedded in a layer of clay on Calvert Island in British Columbia.
