Charlotte had a combination of functional vision symptoms and perceptual vision difficulties. She had poor concentration span, sore eyes on reading, she was losing her place a lot and was misreading words. When our optometrist Gary Rodney tested her, he identified significant functional vision skills deficits, which meant that Charlotte's eye strain was restricting her sight by about 30% even though there was no optical blur. She was prescribed glasses to wear full time and a vision therapy program.
