Programme d'Activité Physique Validé Scientifiquement pour Diminuer Votre Rythme Cardiaque:
- Durée du programme : 2 à 3 mois
- Fréquence : 3 à 4 entraînements par semaine
- Durée d'un entrainement : 1h
- Type d'activité physique : aérobie (course à pieds, vélo, natation,...)
- Intensité de l'entrainement : votre fréquence cardiaque doit tourner autour de 70% de votre fréquence cardiaque maximale.

Exemple: Si vous avez 32 ans, votre rythme cardiaque durant l'activité physique doit être d'environ (226 - 32) x 0,7 = 136 battements par minute.
Si vous êtes un homme: (220 - âge) x 0,7
Exemple: Si vous avez 44 ans, votre rythme cardiaque doit être d'environ (220 - 44) x 0,7 = 123 battements par minute.
- Après la fin du programme restez physiquement actifs pour maintenir les bénéfices obtenus.

Plus le rythme cardiaque d’une espèce animale est bas plus l’espérance de vie de cette espèce est élevée, et inversement. Diminuer votre rythme cardiaque peut-il ajouter de précieuses années à votre vie ? Une compilation de recherches scientifiques a montré que la mortalité la plus faible est observée chez les personnes dont le cœur bat moins de 65 fois par minute. Pour chaque augmentation de 10 battements au-dessus de 65, votre risque de mort prématurée augmente de 10 à 20%. Et cela est vrai même si vous êtes physiquement très actif.
Comment réduire votre rythme cardiaque ? Le sport! Mais pas seulement. Votre alimentation encore une fois votre meilleure alliée.
121 participants ont mangé, chaque jour, une tasse (190 g) de légumineuses cuites, pois-chiches, haricots ou lentilles. Après 3 mois, sans avoir changé leur niveau d’activité physique, leur rythme cardiaque au repos avait chuté de 1,5 à 4,7 battements par minute. Pour obtenir de tels résultats en faisant du sport vous devez pratiquer 1h d’activité physique aérobie (course à pieds, du vélo, de natation), 3 à 4 fois par semaine, pendant 2 à 3 mois. Mais pourquoi choisir entre une alimentation saine et une mise en mouvement de votre corps. Pour vivre plus longtemps, le mieux est de bénéficier du meilleur des deux mondes.
Les légumineuses sont bonnes pour votre cœur pour beaucoup d’autres raisons : elles peuvent diminuer votre cholestérol et vos triglycérides sanguins, abaisser votre tension artérielle diminuant ainsi vos risques de maladies cardio- et cérébrovasculaires, elles peuvent vous aider à réguler votre glycémie si vous êtes diabétique de type II, elles aident à la prévention des cancers, etc.
Pour chaque 20 g de légumineuses mangées quotidiennement, des chercheurs ont observé une réduction de la mortalité de 7 à 8%. Comment se fait-il que de si petites quantités aient des effets si importants ?! Et bien les légumineuses font partie des aliments les plus riches en nutriments (protéines, fer, zinc, potassium, fibres, vitamine B9, antioxydants, etc).
Les auteurs d’un des plus importants rapports sur la prévention du cancer, recommandent de manger des légumineuses à chaque repas. Impossible? Pour le petit déjeuner, pensez aux haricots blancs à la sauce tomate, à l’houmous, au jus de soja. Pour les deux autres repas de la journée, optez pour le chili, les tacos, fajitas et burritos, le tofu, ajoutez des légumineuses à vos salades, vos soupes, grillez des pois chiches à manger comme snack. Il existe même des desserts à base de légumineuses comme la glace azuki.
