Chronic Liver Disease - Chronic Calculous Pancreatitis - Pancreatic Mass || Ultrasound || Case 189
Clinical Features:
A 40 years old female patient came with
- Upper abdominal pain.
- Vomiting.
- Jaundice.
Ultrasound Features:
- Coarse hepatic parenchyma.
- Dilated intrahepatic biliary tree.
- Thin irregular echogenic heterogeneous pancreas with parenchymal calcifications.
- Dilated main pancreatic duct with luminal tiny echogenic calculi.
- Irregular hypoechoic pancreatic head mass.
- Hypoechoic collection with surrounding fat stranding posterolateral to the pancreatic head.
Remember:
Correlation with CT & MR imaging modalities are recommended in patients having multiple abnormalities of the hepatobiliary system.
