Ali Velshi criticizes Israel on MSNBC, drawing a comparison between Israel, Gaza, and the occupied territories and apartheid-era South Africa, and calling Palestinians “at best, third-class citizens in the nation of their birth.” Velshi goes on to describe the bogus evictions of Palestinians from their homes for reasons of “historical or archeological” importance to Israel, only to be resettled by Israelis soon after — not a new development, but an unjust reality nonetheless.
Sam Seder and Emma Vigeland discuss the implications of the change in language and the change in tone surrounding the same issues that have been facing Palestinians and Israelites for decades.
