Born in the north of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Smangele Myaka well known as "Urban Engel" is a talented, passionate, unique self-taught House Music DJ & Producer. Her undying love for music & curiosity about music led her to experiment with different types of DAW software (Digital Audio Workstation).

She started deejaying in 2013 and then, later on, went on to produce music for the Godfathers of Deep house music in 2016. 2018 she parted ways with The Godfathers to focus on her solo career and has since then released music with digital record labels such as Surrealsounds, Dr. Zehny music just to name a few.
