This Argentine tango video and class notes are meant to help our students remember what they’ve done in class.

Dimension: Speed - Theme: Changing speed in giros

In this class, we looked at how we could change speed in the giros - sometimes on the beat, sometimes on double time. We started with several variants of the ocho cortado, with adornments for both partners and repetition before incorporated this classic step into giros to create really nice, dynamic steps that will come handy on busy dancefloors.
