Operation Firestorm Beta 2 for C&C Generals Zero Hour. Operation Firestorm for sure has one of the best looking models and textures you may see in Zero Hour mods, just look at amount of details on them. Many of infantry units, especially those in Power Armors like Desolators, look outstanding. Aside from the new stuff for unlocked Leang General in this release, there are some changes for "older' Generals like Tier 3 Defense Structures. The High Tech for the USA is the faction that really loves Railguns, Lasers and Orbital Cannons stuff. But this comes of course with a price, your units are more expensive so keep an eye out for them in battle. You will love your air stuff to fight, early Commanches will be crucial against AI opponents when they are busy fighting ground stuff. After you reach a higher tier, Orca Gunships are perfect choice for tank and artillery hunting. Just have in mind that AA units in Firestorm are extremely strong, what results in quick losses of aircrafts. On the ground you have Laser Crusaders, Paladins together with Repair AFVs and Avengers to support them in fight. You can also unlock with General Power the Overcharge ability for your Paladins to give them a temporary damage boost. As your primary artillery unit on the ground use Hunters with their EMP warhead that shuts down buildings, units and deals moderate damage to them. If you really don't like hostile artillery units (they are a real problem to deal with), you can place Tier 3 Heavy Defense, it destroys lots of units in one shot. Support Powers and Superweapons in Firestorm are really devastating, when you give the AI a chance to use it, gg. The Hard AI cheats a lot in Operation Firestorm, thus the Medium difficulty is the one where AI is somewhat fair to you. Hard AI seems also to have no problems with lack of supply and they really love to mass produce units what causes slowdowns.
