We drive this spectacular 1965 AP6 V8 Valiant ground up restoration. This model of car was a real game changer in the history of Australian motoring for the 1960s, and in fact started a muscle car war between the big three here in Aus with Ford, Chrysler and General Motors, and a battle that would rage for many years to come on race tracks around the country, such us Mount Panorama Bathurst. This was an era revolving around motorsport, where winning at the race track on Sunday, sold cars on Monday, much like what was happening in the USA, some years before it. This first compact V8 produced in Australia, happened much to the joy of dedicated Mopar fans.

Passionate car guy and Master of Machines host Glenn Everitt has extensive experience in the Automotive Industry, as a high performance technician, auto mechanic and dyno tuner, including other industries such as auto restoration and auto detailing. He's a lifelong racer too, born into a motorsport family and starting with road racing from the age of 14, and also competing in Drag Racing to help promote his dyno shop for many years. He's also passionate about two wheels as well, having started out on dirt bikes, then moving to Sports bikes of all kinds.
