Tesla owners are often worried about the capacity of their battery, or when looking to buy a used car, how healthy the battery is of the car they are looking to buy. Remember, there are reasons why these figures may vary, including battery temperature, rounding errors, BMS calibration etc, and a 1 or 2 kwh difference is nothing to worry about. New Tesla have a 30% tolerance over the warranty period for degradation which equates to between 20 and 30 kwh. Most owners will never get close to that level of degradation.
