So guys I was having a issue with my motor. It would crank and run perfect one day, then I could go back out and try to crank it up again two days later and it wouldn't turn over fine but I wouldn't have power to any power pack or spark plug. I could then go back the next day and the motor would fire and run perfect.
I ordered a new CDI timer base, power pack. The stater is only a year old and is also a CDI electronics part. After disassembly of the engine I could tell that the original timer base was seized due to grime grease and a thick goo from where the factory original stator had melted on the original owner. They installed a new CDI stator but did not clean up any of the goo left behind which caused the timer base to seize up.
Not sure if the powerpack was the problem or the timer base or if it was a combination of both but after installing all the new parts the motor has been cranking and running perfect ever since.
