THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT:
02-FEB-2022. An Atlas Air Boeing 747-400 (B744), registration N476MC, performing GTI33 / 5Y33 from Miami International Airport, FL (USA) to Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Argentina) after departure reported hydraulic issue and requested to level-off. Later they decided to return back. On the way back to Miami, the crew requested a tug because they were unable to vacate the runway. The hydraulic issue affected their nose wheel steering.

DEPARTURE: Giant 33 Heavy, Departure, radar contact, climb and maintain 16000.
GTI33: Giant 33, we’d like to climb to, let’s say to, no higher than 10000 till we take care of checklist items.
DEPARTURE: Giant 33, amend the altitude, maintain 1, actually 9000.
GTI33: 9000, Giant 33, and once we take care of checklist items we're not gonna go too fast till we make sure we can resolve the issue or else we have to return back, thank you.
DEPARTURE: Alright, just keep me advised.
GTI33: Roger, 9000 feet, sir.
DEPARTURE: Giant 33, you gonna continue on the flight plan or do you need to return?
GTI33: Looks like we have a hydraulic issue which makes us impossible to continue. We have to return to a proper, suitable airport, which is Miami. We just wanna take our time to burn some fuel and take care of checklist items. Now it’s not a big hurry for us to get back. What is the best for you for vectoring us or holding? What is the easiest for you to handle us?
DEPARTURE: Do you wanna go back to Miami, Giant 33?
GTI33: Yes, but we need to make sure… If we could dump fuel or if we can have proper weight before we get back.
DEPARTURE: Alright, stand by.
DEPARTURE: Giant 33, Center is aware. Contact them now 133.85.
GTI33: Was that for Giant 33?
DEPARTURE: Yes, Giant 33, 133.85, 33.85, he’s aware of your issues.

GTI33: For precautionary reasons I prefer to have it towed off. That way we don't get stuck halfway trying to taxi the runway, my apologies.
APPROACH: No problem, so we can have a tug on stand-by at the runway, so we can get you off.
GTI33: Thank you very much, sir.
APPROACH: Roger.
APPROACH: Giant 33 Heavy, are you an emergency?
GTI33: Negative, no emergency, just have a system failure that affects our nose wheel steering, sir.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
