(7 Jun 2014) Britain's Queen Elizabeth II ended her three-day official visit to France on Saturday with a visit to the flower market near Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
The market will be renamed in her honour to celebrate her second visit there since 1948.
After a visit to the Paris Town Hall, the Queen and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, walked around the market with French President Francois Hollande and the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.
The royal couple then headed to Villacoublay airport, accompanied by Hollande.
The Queen's visit to France coincided with the commemoration for the 70th anniversary of D-Day, including a lunch and ceremony hosted by French President Francois Hollande on Friday.
