In this video, we will show you how to convert Part A and Part B of Form 16 using the TRACES conversion utility available in Saral PayPack.
Before starting the process, download Part A and Part B of Form 16 from the TRACES website.
To start the process of converting Part A and Part B of Form 16 in Saral PayPack, follow the process step-by-step -
▪ Go to the TDS Report under the menu and select Form 16 with TRACES.
▪ Now, select the financial year for which Form 16 is being generated.
▪ Select the Part A Zip file downloaded from Traces by clicking three dotted buttons.
▪ But, for first-time users, click on the download TRACES utility to download the conversion utility and install the same as in the software path.
▪ After tracing the path, click on generate.
▪ Now, the TRACES PDF generated utility window will be opened.
▪ The path of the Part A zip file and the required password i.e., TAN will be auto-taken.
▪ Now, the converted Part A PDF file will be saved is auto-created and the path is displayed.
▪ If the Part A file has to be digitally signed, then map the digital signature with your responsible person.
▪ Now, click to create a ZIP file to a PDF file and save it in the defined folder.
▪ Next, convert the Part B ZIP file. To convert this file follow the similar to that of part A conversion to a PDF file.
