As tonight's guest-host Kurt Halfyard will tell you, Come Out And Play - film number 8 of TIFF 2012's Midnight Madness program - is based on a super-creepy Spanish horror film of the 70s about an island of adult-killing kids. Kurt's hosting lead him to chat with critic/reviewer/PHD-in-Spanish-genre-film getter Shelagh Rowan-Legg, who talks about how the original film called Who Can Kill A Child was powerful in it's day because it truly offered something that audiences have never seen before.
