Have you seen the price of lettuce lately?! My nearby Kroger had Iceberg at $2.19 and a 3 pack of old looking Romaine hearts for $4.49! That's nuts. It's so easy to grow lettuce indoors. The seeds are pretty cheap. A grow light is reasonable. Deals on soil can be found. If you're already growing your greens indoors, please comment below what you're growing. If you're not yet growing indoors, now might be a good time to start!
Let me know if you're participating in the Pantry Challenge in January. Will you have homegrown lettuce, or will you have to buy it?
xoxo,
Carter
