The Sotavento windsurfing and kitesurfing centre at Risco del Paso beach in southern Fuerteventura is ideal for both adults and children of all levels, because of the sheltered sailing area and open sea right next to the centre. It is especially suited to junior and beginners with a range of light and easy to use equipment. It can be much less crowded that the main Sotavento lagoon beach area further north. With shuttle buses available from Costa Calma and the Melia Hotel.
