Calus returns with the Leviathan, now derelict and corrupted and attempts to commune with the Witness through the dormant Pyramid Ship on the Moon. Nightmares begin to manifest our deepest regrets aboard the Leviathan, and Crow is finally brought face to face with the monster he once was in his past life as Prince Uldren Sov. This season sees Crow being brought low by his past, and eventually learning to move through it and become something more as a result of his past deeds and how to embody Uldren's best traits, rather than his worst. Season of the Haunted marks one of the most satisfying and important moments of Crow's entire character arc. The stage is set for Crow to become Cayde 6's successor as Hunter Vanguard and fulfill his Vanguard Dare.
