This shows our experience using a Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 electric motor powering our 3-tonne sailing catamaran around the UK.

The review covers the positive features of the motor as well as some areas where it could be improved.

It also shows how fast it was able to propel our boat at full power (5kn).

The Torqeedo 4.0 has the same physical characteristics as the Torqeedo 2.0 (except that it runs on twice the voltage and has twice the power). The review is therefore also applicable for the Torqeedo 4.0.
