Welcome, to the League of Legends Champion Spotlight, featuring Lissandra, the Cocksucking niggah
Zac, the League's hexchem-fueled Secret Weapon is about to hit the Fields of Justice. Playing this gelatinous champion means striking a balance between health-cost abilities and a unique regeneration mechanic. Here's your first look at what this blob's amorphous abilities bring to the table.
Any sailor worth his salt will let you know that the world's greatest mysteries lie at the bottom of the ocean. Of course, they'll also probably tell you that those who aren't careful find themselves caught between the devil and the deep blue sea!
Take for instance, Nautilus, the Titan of the Depths. You'll find no better expert on the things that lurk in Davey Jones' Locker.
If you're not a strong swimmer, you might want to take a moment before you dive in to meet this next champion! Allow me to introduce Fizz, the Tidal Trickster. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, there comes an undersea champion with a penchant for mischief and an affinity for a few marine carnivores! Be on the lookout for fins.
At Riot Games a big part of our corporate culture is breaking down barriers through innovation. And, while we're on the subject, this seems like as good a time as any to introduce our latest champion. Meet Xerath, the Magus Ascendant. Previously one of the most powerful mages in Valoran, Xerath's learned the hard way just what sort of trouble accepting constraints -- in this case a gigantic, enchanted sarcophagus -- can get you into.
Of course, even a chained Magus Ascendant is somebody you want to avoid underestimating.
If there's anything that we've learned over the course of the years here at Riot Games, it's that it pays to be prepared for any eventuality. Take this next champion for instance. Riven, the Exile, is here to show you that you can still be a badass even if your sword's been broken.
Now take a moment to appreciate what she could probably do with a complete weapon, because you just might find out!
While designing a champion for League of Legends, it's important to ensure that your concept appeals to a broad audience. For instance, if you're out to strike a chord with the monster enthusiasts, amateur arachnologists, and horror movie buffs, it's good to also incorporate something for those of a more refined mindset. And while we're on the subject of multifaceted design, allow me to introduce Skarner, the Crystal Vanguard. One part monster, one part gemstone, Skarner is sure to please whether you're wearing a button up or wielding a butcher knife.

It takes a truly resourceful gentleman to seamlessly combine function and style, particularly on the battlefield. It should come as no surprise, then, that the upcoming champion of the League is a man of both utility and flair.
Allow me to introduce Talon, the Shadow's Blade. In addition to looking every bit the part of the cloaked and cowled assassin that he is, Talon's cloak of blades makes him a dangerous and terrifying presence on the battlefield. It's probably best to steer clear of this this cloaked and dangerous champion on the Field of Justice, or he won't be the only one pulling a disappearing act.
