Electrical shocks can cause very serious injuries and sometimes even death. In Fact we have a name for it. Electrocution. If the birds aren't getting electrocuted, it essentially means that they are not getting electrical shocks, meaning the bird isn't allowing the electricity to flow through the wire into their own body.
There are two types of electric currents-
Direct current (DC) like the ones used in torch lights and alternative current (AC) current , this is the current that is supplied to your house or office through electric poles.
These poles contain two kinds of wires, live wires and neutral wires. The current always flows from the neutral wires to the live wires.
