Follow us on a full day exploring every corner of Ram Falls Provincial Park! We showcase all the cool places to check out while you're there; 20m waterfall lookouts, hidden waterfalls, river walks, unserviced campgrounds and lots of sheep!
Only 65km south of Nordegg on the forestry trunk road Highway 734, Ram Falls Campground provides campers with a rustic experience away from the noise and activity of city life. A platform with stairs leading down provide a breathtaking view of Ram Falls, and there are often the iconic Bighorn Sheep along the banks of the river.
The campground has vault toilets, and there is no firewood or drinking water available on site. As the evenings can get quite chilly in the early and later parts of the season, it is advised that you bring an ample supply of firewood.
When planning your trip to Ram Falls Campground, you should note that the road leading to the campground can be rough, steep, and winding in places. It is best to bring a map of the area as signage and cellphone reception are limited.
