As a paraplegic, it’s difficult to find a successful bowel routine at first. Manual evacuation wasn’t working for me, so I started using the Peristeen System— which is like a fancy enema. Although some may find the topic of how we poop as spinal cord injury survivors taboo or embarrassing, it’s important to address, as some are still struggling to stay clean day to day. As we all know, not being able to stay clean can lead to UTIs and future complications!
So welcome to Part 2 of my Bowel Routine using the Peristeen! Please me mature 🤍
