1. Initiate with your rear hip
2. Stay in the SAME stance throughout
While the Cuban/ Soviet
1. Initiate with your FRONT foot
2. SWITCH stance during the movement then drop step to return
With both variations ensure you pivot off the centre line creating a new angle, not on the spot or you will still be in the firing line
