Within this webcast, we discussed a simple approach for valuing dividend paying stocks by using annual dividend yields, expected growth rates, & price to earnings (P/E) ratios. To do this we created a stock screen from Schwab.com and then exported the data into CSV format. From there we created a formula from our criteria, imported the symbols to the thinkorswim platform, and reviewed a few of the undervalued stocks, according to the formula. Lastly, we entered a trade in the paperMoney desktop platform.
