Radio station PBS 106.7FM (Naarm/Melbourne, Australia) celebrated the first Studio 5 Live session from its new home in Collingwood Yards on April 10 with a blistering set from Japanese garage power trio Guitar Wolf.
Across the past 30 years, the jet rock'n'rollers have toured the world many times over and are no strangers to our city's sticky-carpeted venues. We caught them mid-tour for this special event.
A set of their trademark explosive garage rock was filmed and recorded at PBS on Monday April 10, 2023. The set was first aired on Thursday April 13 on outlaw rock 'n' roll program Fang It! with Ruari Currin.
Studio 5 Live is made possible by Mountain Goat Beer. PBS thanks the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust for funding assistance to build and fit-out Studio 5.
