The new ESS 5.5kW replaces the good old Voltasol inverter charger with a similar power rating. The inverter has a brand new touch screen with more interactive menus, colored display , LED colour changing display and an improved software that is optimised for lithium-ion batteries.
The operating modes will satisfy all possible configurations including, feeding back to the grid, zero power (0Watt) export, self-consumption, and parallel supply to the domestic loads from the grid and the inverter.
The power and communication terminals are well isolated from the users, the inverter is safe for use at home like other appliances.
