In Part 2 of our Performance Testing Series, we'll use an accelerometer to show you how our RAS® springs help improve stability while hauling.
Our RAS® (RoadActive Suspension) system is designed to reduce rear squat while providing a smoother, more stable ride for your truck, whether you're hauling heavy loads or just cruising around town. On of the things pickup owners notice immediately after installing RoadActive Suspension, is the improve stability and reduce body roll. We wanted to show you just what’s happening under the truck, and how much of a difference our system can make.
To do this, we put 1000lb load in the bed of a 1/2 ton truck. In this video, we'll use an accelerometer to measure improvement in side-to-side roll while traveling at the speed limit. First, we'll start with no RAS® installed. Then you’ll see how the RAS® springs help keep the truck level and stable when loaded.
Throughout the video, we'll show you side-by-side comparisons of the truck with and without the RAS® system, so you can see just how much of a difference it makes. And we'll provide commentary and analysis to help you understand what's happening and why.
We're confident that once you see the results of this test, you'll understand why so many truck owners trust RAS® to provide a smoother, more stable ride. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!
