In this video we will visit the Baby Taj that is Tomb of Itmad ud Daula. This place is located in Moti Bagh, Agra. Baby Taj or Tomb of Itmad ud Daula was constructed by Nur Jahan, the wife of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Itmad ud Daula was a kind of title that was given to Nur Jahan's father Mirza Ghiyas Beg by the emperor Jahangir. Itmad ud Daula means pillar of the government. This monument is called as Baby Taj as it has a lot of similarities except the size. This was constructed before Taj Mahal and Tomb of Itmad ud Daula was considered as inspiration for building Taj Mahal. Baby Taj is a name given by people mostly in modern era. Tomb of Itmad ud Daula or Baby Taj has beautiful inlay work of semi-precious stones. It is made from White Marble as well just like Taj Mahal.
