ABOUT THE SHOW: Kristi McVee spent 10 years in the police force as a specialist child interviewer and a detective Senior Constable. When she retired from the force, Kristi believed there was a better way to help by taking a proactive approach, rather than a reactive approach. Now she is the author of 'Operation Kids Safe' (a detectives guide to child abuse prevention). She's also the Director of 'Cape AU', which stands for child abuse prevention and education in Australia.
For us who are teacher's and business owners that work with children, we have a duty of care to our students and for that reason, I believe this is an important discussion to have, even if uncomfortable at times. Though it may not be for everyone. Thanks for tuning in.
