The TIE Defender is an iconic starfighter and the newest addition to the Imperial Navy in Star Wars Squadrons. While is has shields as strong as a Y-Wing, it's hull is extremely frail and it has some very strange charging rates for it's different systems. It does, however, feature the unique Advanced Power Systems component, which gives it the ability to instantly overcharge it's power systems similar to the Power Conversion on any other TIE. If put in the hands of the right pilot, this starfighter is potentially unstopppable!!!
