After Heian-kyo's 2nd Anniversary Fest, a brand new decorative function will become available: Pet Trailing. The function allows for Pets to follow shikigami in battles.
They will not affect the battles, but will demonstrate special motions when certain requirements are fulfilled.
The first Pets to become available are Sakurako series and Ibaraki-gero.
