It is quite normal to hear the term Yagi for every antenna that looks a bit like a fish bone.
Although we understand the underlying meaning when customers refer to a Yagi, we felt it's still useful to clarify the basic difference between an LPDA (Log Periodic Dipole Array) and a Yagi (Yagi-Uda).
