I read a tweet that led me to take my landscape photography business way more seriously than I was. It was by Jon Acuff and it said, "If you're a photographer who's really good at photography but really bad at business, you're probably not going to be a photographer for very long." The fact of the matter is that even if you want to make money with landscape photography on the side, you still have to take the necessary steps to have a successful business. I was originally REALLY bad at photography business, but I've since corrected my mistakes and created a consistent model that leads to growth each year.
In this video, I wanted to share some of the mistakes that I made when I went full-time in landscape photography, but also how I corrected those mistakes. I also share the 5 things you need to start a successful landscape photography business that will lead to income and growth if you consistently apply these principles and adapt to changing trends. From making money on the side to going full-time, follow these tips and you'll see success. Remember, the diligent prosper.
