Kovu saved Kiara from the fire and then Simba comes, but Kovu says that he wants to join Simba's Pride and he left the Outlanders and he should join his Pride because he saved his daughter and he shouldn't be punished for a crime that he didn't commit, and simba agrees and takes him.
