Right news regarding the iPad 11 has certainly been a little odd, because we had heard about it keeping the same old A14 which was very disappointing news, but now there is a ray of hope that things may not be too bad. Let’s dive in.

So we first heard about the iPad 11 retaining the A14 when MacRumors sifted through technical information posted by a private account on Twitter who has been credible in the past, and what was weird is that the model number the source shared didn’t align with the model number the iPad 11 is expected to have. That’s why back then I suggested that there is a chance this is not the iPad 11, and it’s a new HomePod with a display instead, or it's just a modified iPad 10. And guess what? I was onto something because now we have more information from another Twitter source called Nicolas Alvarez, and they claim there was a new A14 iPad in the works that’s now been scrapped, and the A16 is now coming to the iPad 11. That’s superb news people! And to back this up the source did share the identifiers iPad 15,7 and 15,8 for the WiFi and cellular versions of the iPad 11, and he can confirm both are getting the A16.
