Uterus: Normal in size and anteverted in position. Measuring 8.6 x 5.1 x 6.4 cm
Endometrium: Is normal in thickness (4.0 mm.) No any GS or product of concept seen within the endometrium
Myometrium: Is homogeneous. There is a hypoechoic mass in the anterior myometrium measuring 3.4cm.
Right Ovary: Normal in size, and echogenicity. Measuring Volume 4.0 cc.
Left Ovary: Cystic Mass noted in the ovary measuring 3.6 cm.
Cul-de-Sac: No fluid collection is present in POD.
Uterine fibroids
Composed of smooth muscle fibers and fibrous connective tissue.
Atrophic or degenerative changes can cause fibrosis hemorrhage, cystic necrotic changes, and calcification.
